Professional Background
I have a degree in Marketing with graduate work at both Arizona State University and San Francisco State University. I became an Agent after completing the basic licensing requirements for the State of Washington. Several years later I successfully completed the Associate Brokers program. This program is an extensive and demanding course of study covering such areas as Real Estate Law, Finance/Lending, and Business Practices. The State Department of Licensing recently changed this designation to Managing Broker. I am also a certified Washington State Real Estate Instructor and one of the first agents in the state to have been awarded a Certified Short Sale Negotiator (CSSN). With both an instructor's ability and a Managing Broker designation, my clients are assured the highest level of expertise and professional service.Testimonials
As one of the most successful agents in the Windermere family, I offer a wide range of experiences and contributions. I feel the comments of past clients offer a good indication of what new clients can expect...here are a few: "someone who was willing to invest time and energy to find just the right home for us", "a pleasure to work with...very attentive and helpful", " I'd strongly recommend Bill to all my family and friends", "you made our dream come true, we think you are great!", "I've bought and sold several homes before, no one has ever worked harder on my behalf".Who am I
I have lived in Seattle for many years. My wife and I have one child, a dog, and a cat. We have completed several major remodeling projects on our own home and I have developed construction expertise in a number of areas. During my time in the Northwest, I have been active in a number of community activities including Scouts and Habitat for Humanity. Some of my more exotic travels include Costa Rica (where I helped build a clinic) and a Habitat project in Guatemala. Following hurricane Katrina, I was in Mississippi to help with rehabilitation and rebuilding communities. In 2008, I volunteered to help build homes and to teach English in a small village in Vietnam. Most recently I had the unique opportunity of touring Iran as part of a group from Australia....it was a trip of a life time to a remarkable country. Along with Delta Blues and Blue Grass, I also enjoy classical music and often attend Seattle Symphony concerts.Worth thinking about
